Oman happened to me when I was least expecting it and it will remain as the most stressfree and happy phase of my adult life so far .
I had just delivered my second baby boy and trying to get his passport done within a month when getting a finger print for the biometric tests from that tiny new thumb was impossible.
The first thing which striked me about Oman was the landscape of the sea on one side and the mountain on the other .Each time I went out on the roads , it was as if I had a choice to look at the neverending stretch of the brown rocky mountains or look at the calm and serene sea.
There is a lot to do in Oman and each weekend of my 3 month stay was devoted to checking out new places . When I was not outdoors I could still see the mountains change colour each day and some marvellous sunrise and sunsets everyday from the large window of my bedroom with my little one in my arms witnessing the moments.
Places in Muscat , Oman which I loved to visit are
Jebel Akhdar mountains
Wadis – Wadi bani habib
Al hoota caves
Sultan Qaboos grand Mosque
